It often happens, tjat "successful" Demo trader open his Live account and con not stop wondering. Suddenly, everything seems different. But in the fact, the conditions are the same. The fundamental difference is that it is a work with real money. More decision-making processes on discipline, emotions and psyche in trading with real money.

The crucial money are a result of thinking! Search for the success in your head, not in the Stock Exchange. However, when trading on real accounts, it is neccessary to understand the differences between working with Demo and Live accounts. In principle, the platform, charts, calculation of accounts, trades, trading instructions, these are from 95% the same. The fundamental difference is, that Demo trading is not managed by a life person, Stock Exchange dealer. It is a machine, software. Although it works with real data from the Exchanges, everything is done quickly, automatically, without human intervention. So called "delusional" data and quotations from worldwide Exchanges can get into platforms and charts sometimes but in practise they can not be traded. On Demo, it is possible. Mainly the non-opening hours of Stock Exchanges get into system, that is why nobody deals with it. In real, you can not get into any trade (set an order), if it is not in line with the asset"s real quotation of the Exchange. In real, you also have to count with the influence of liquidity, volatility and time to implement trading orders with a possible influence of these factors on so called slippage.

How should a professional preparation for Live trading on Demo versions look like?

You can open as much Demo accounts as you like. You can use them for playing, trying different strategies, to sophisticated training. We recommend to test each asset, every new strategy and method of trading first on Demo account, then in the real Live version with 1 Lot (especially with regard to the real conditions of trading). Then, you can go into bigger actions on your real accounts!

For your professional Demo trading, respect following principles:

• Trade only in trading hours for individual Exchanges.
• Set orders and market orders exclusively in these hours.
• Respect Open Range, techical and other breaks with influence on liquidity, the end of trading.
• For Entry Stop Order, Entry Limit Order orders set the close Stop, Trailing Stop orders. Place the limit to a reasonable distance.
• Plan your trading. Plan A - Your open position is developing according to assumption, plan the profit realization, Stop or Limit orders, Close position and so on. Plan B - the prices are developing against Your position, react according to predetermined plan, that respects Your risk perception and financial possibilities.
• Within the chosen strategy (swing, intraday, scalping) count with an influence of volatility, liquidity and time! Traing the opening of less liquid assets on Entry Stop Order, Entry Limit Order!
• Do not scalp unrealistic asset"s quotations, you couldn"t do it in real!
• Do not trade price movements and price swings beyond the trading hours.
• Within the chosen strategy, work with appropriate Money Management, follow it as you would be in real trading!
• Do not overtrade yourselves! Fair practise means to keep conditions of real trading. Use 1 Lot, multicontract to 5 - 10% of your account equity! Theoretically count the Margin Call from open positions, account capacity on usable margin. Do not take chances, work with adequate risk level! For some it is 1 - 2 % of account value (balance), for others it is 3 - 5 %. Never more!
• Manage ordered and open trades, Stop, Trailing Stop, Limit, Close position orders.

If you provably and orderly appreciate a number of your Demo accounts by sophisticated and planned procedures by tens to hundreds of percent, you will be ready fot Your Live trading. If you just play and appreciate your Demo accounts by incorrect procedures, you will build delusions for your real trading. Therefore, be honest, uncompromising and fait to your Demo trading. It is worth it!
