INSTRUCTION FOR USE CHARTS
on Platform Goldstar Online Trading
You can reach the charts on the platform by clicking on Charts in upper main menu, from roll menu you choose New Chart and new window appears:
Here you chose Instrument and time period.
New chart follows to appear:
Chart Tool Bar offers these options:
1. Choose an instrument (asset),
2. Chose the time period for candle (in candlestick charts),
3. Zoom in, zoom out, reset the zoom,
4. Vertical move scale,
5. Reticule,
6. Indicator setting,
7. Print a chart,
8. Export and saving the data to MS Excel,
9. Open the table with quotations,
10. Draw a trendline,
11. Delete a trendline
12. Show/hide opened positions, orders, price allerts,
13. Chart setting,
14. Setting the chart type,
15. Buy/Sell
1. Choose an instrument
Roll menu offers the choice of instruments directly from chart window. Instrument and setting the period may be changed individually and independently on each other. As soon as these characteristics are changed, chart updates changed scheme. Directly from the chart window you can change the instrument.
2. Choose the time period
Roll menu offers the choice of time period of chart. Setting of instrument and period is changed individually and independently on each other. As soon as one of these characteristics is changed, chart updates automatically with the last change. Directly from chart window you can choose the time period. Goldstar Online Trading (Wintrader) offers the tick, 1 minute, 5 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours, daily and weekly charts.
3. Zoom in, zoom out, reset the zoom,
these buttons enables to zoom in, zoom out and delete the zoom in chart. You can zoom in and out by mouse scroll.
4. Vertical move scale
Vertical move scale button determines, whether Vertical Automatic scale (auto-scale) defines if the vertical scale will be changed automatically to conform to vertical axis data anytime the chart is zoomed in or out.
5. Reticule
This tool enables you to aim direct value on chart.
6. Indicator setting
Opens the menu with indicator setting where you can choose from offered indicators which will be displayed on chart.
7. Print the chart
By clicking to icon "Printer" you print actually opened chart.
8. Export and saving the data to MS Excel
Export the data from actual chart in the table form to Excel programme. Next to clicking on the "save" button appears the dialogue window that anables you to shape the exported data. You can choose which one from six columns you wish to fold in to table (Date, Time, Open, High, Low, Close). Also you can choose export of all aviable time data or specify particular time period. As soon as you are content with the shape of column and setting of a period, just click "Next".
9. Open the table with quotations
By clicking on "Table" icon opens the table right on the chart.
10. Draw a trendline
in upper menu of the chart you choose from several drawing tools:
Add a trendline to a chart - click on the button "Draw tTrendline" and draft the line to any place on the chart,
Extend trendline left or right - click the button "Extend Right" or "Extend Left",
Add vertical line - click on button "Vertical Line" in the upper roll menu (B),
Add horizontal line - click the button "Horizontal Line". By clicking the left mouse button on line you an relocate it to any place on the chart,
Fibonacci Retracement (reversals)
- click on the button "Fibonacci Retracement" in upper menu of the chart. Click and draw in chart till Fibonacci levels appears. Next to it figures seven levels: 0%, 23,6%, 38,2%, 50%, 61,8%, 76,4%, and 100%.
Create a paralel line - first add basic trenline and than click the button "Create Parallel Line". Next to it appears the paralel line. Chatch it by mouse and move it.
Show the labels on the line (Show line labels) - to figure the position data on the ends of trendlines mark the line on which you want to see the position data and click on the button "Show Line Labels".
11. Delete a trendlines
To delete chosen trendlines or all of them click on icon "Delete" in upper menu.
12. Show/hide opened positions, orders, price alerts
Click on the button to display or hide opened positions, created orders and set price alerts right on chart. You may click on the arrow besides the button to hide or show these items separately.
13. Chart Settings
To open the menu for Chart, click the this button -> 
in upper chart menu, or choose Chart Settings from right mouse-button menu. Chart setting enables to figure or hide chart components, setting and color change.
14. Chart type
offers the choice of chart type: "candlestick", "bar" or Line" chart.
15. Buy/Sell
The buttons shows actual market price of the instrument in particular time and offers to buy or sell the instrument for the actual market price.
Placing the tool bar
You can move the Tool bar by catching the left upper corner and move it to any place on the screen. As soon as you move the tool bar, it shifts to a single window form. You can place it vertically too.
Trading from charts
On the Goldstar Online Trading platform you have unique opportunity to trade right on charts. You can place, change and remove the market orders, Stop and Limit orders and Price Alerts right on the window of the chart. You trade this way from right mouse button menu.
