DIRECTIONS FOR THE GOLDSTAR PLATFORM

Original platform Goldstar Wintrader has undergone fundamental change. The background of AtcForex offers a wide range of new features and functions. Graphics from past versions differ quite substantially, but the user interface is much simpler and more transparent. Using the functions, terminology and basis software is the same as in the previous version.

These folds contain following choices:

Home:

Commands ˇýSell a ˇüBuy known orders for the sale or purchase at the current market price. Choose the type of order, in the pop-up window chose the type of asset, enter the number of lots. This is the type of MO (Market Order command).

Button The New Chart offers opening of a new chart in the current "Workspace". You can choose a chart of instrument, instrument assets from the offer, including its temporal types (5-minute, 1 hour ...). TIP ¨C in the menu of assets you have a possibility "find instrument", where you just enter the first letters of the name of the asset and the system will find the asset it itself. Use arrows to move between assets with name starting with the same letter.

Instrument catalog - Is a catalog of assets. The catalog is sorted into folders of stock indices, single stock titles USA, Europe and Asia, Forex currency pairs and Commodities. In the catalog, you can delete the asset, which you do not require, from the New Chart button list. This will allow you to Clean offer of unnecessary assets and thus clarify it. Deleting an asset from the menu is done by clicking  on the button "unsubscribe".

Desktop profiles allows you to save the current settings of graphs and Workspaces, "Profiles" - creating a greater number of Workspaces and switch between these options. You can also choose from several basic settings - menu "System":

default = primary pre-set
Beginner = Setting for "beginners"
Intermediate = Setting for "advanced"
Advanced = Setting for "experienced".

Offer "Custom" shows the name of the current platform configuration.

Via a Desktop Profile you can set more "Profiles" settings. Any number of Windows can be set in the existing "profile" and a total max 100 charts. It is possible to create different "profiles" and use them on different computers (desktop / notebook ,...), it is also possible to open an account on one computer multiple times with different "Profiles" and use the possibilities of working with several hundred of charts using more screens (2, 3 to 6). Multiple-screem system and demands for the full use of the software Goldstar require adequate technical parameters of the PC and internet speed. It is possible to recommend multi-core processors, high-quality graphics cards and high-speed internet.

The offer Launch strategy allows you to run strategy and pre-set mathematical technical analysis indicators (eg MACD, etc.) and trade strategies with their help.

Trade

Trade Offer contains known commands:

Sell / Buy

Close Position is selected to close trading positions at the current market price, MO

Hedge Position allows you to "ensure" selected positions in the opposite order.

Button Entry Sell enter input and Stop Limit orders to short position button Entry Buy enter the same orders for the long position.

Buttons Stop Limit set output orders, and Stop-Loss Limit.

Button Modify allows a change of the currently programmed order for the entry or the exit of the position.

Button Remove removes order the entry or exit from the position.

Button Price Alert sets audio signal when the price level you set  is achieved.

Options

Contains buttons for the purchase of sale (put) or purchase (call) option and the window with a list of options. Optional strategies are suitable for sophisticated trading systems. Currently this possibility is a part of the AtcForex platform for the account type ICTS FX.

Windows

 

Contains an extensive menu to display:

Dealing rates - Actual quotes of assets (stock indices, equities, commodities, Forex currencies). You can open your Buy Sell or type orders of designated assets in Dealing rates, positions MO, ESO, ELO, OCO, to enter a sliding or fixed orders Limits and Stops.

Open positions - A list of open positions, including business information.

Orders - Set up orders for Buy or Sell positions, including default S, L. The current defined Stop or Limits as input and output orders.

News - Monitoring reports, only on the Live accounts. Source - generally Reuters.

Reports - Monitoring of statements of accounts for your selected period, with many other statistics.

Closed positions - List of closed business positions.

Price allerts - Audio and visual warnings when achieving a defined price - the price signal.

Instruments - List of assets (The same as the Instrument Catalogue in the menu Home).

Summary - thelist of sub-accounts (when opening the demo account you can create 1 to 5 sub-accounts), current status of all accounts (summary). As for the Live account - you can work with any number of accounts, in this case acts Goldstar AtcForex Wintrader as manager multiplatform.

Events and Messages contains a window that contains the latest news and alerts, the system received during the current session.

Risk exposure - Shows the net monetary position for each individual currency, you can view the maximum risk (price movement in Pips) for any Margin Call...

Comment - Includes comments.

Tutorials - Launches "a tutorial program" of the platform.

Open a live account - Takes you to the procedure of opening the Live account (this icon is only for demo).

Add Funds - Option to add funds to your account.

Auto Arrange Windows - Automatically organizes windows and charts in the currently open workspace. We recommend to always arrange charts in the window with this feature!

New Workspace - Creates a new workspace.

Rename active workspace - You can rename the currently open workspace.

Close active workspace - Closes the active workspace.

Application Map - Will collectively display the current settings of the platform according to particular workspaces. Click on the asset or area to move it.

Charts

 

New Chart - Opens a new chart in the currently opened window, Workspace.

Set defaults - You can set the parameters that appear when you open a new chart. Eg. current quotations, date on the horizontal axis, view of opened positions, orders, price alerts, the choice of the mouse wheel functionality and more.

Open Charts - You can quickly open chart assets and time period already opened in the platform.

Indicator editor - Allows you to create your own math indicator.

Strategy Editor - Allows you to create algorithmic trading strategies.

Launch Strategy ¨C Select here from a list of strategies and launch it on the platform.

Strategy Summary - Provides summary information on all active strategies.

Open Strategy - Shows you a list of open strategies.

Help

 

Contains particulary Trader Manual - Directions how to use the platform, including videos. In English.

About - Displays the name of the system, applications and other information.

Possible settings for your trading platform:

For your profitable and especially secure business, you can set any number of windows, charts, and "Profiles". Everything depends on the efficiency of your PC. Prefer at least dual-core processor, 3-4 GB Ram, the best graphics card, multiple-screem system. For the comfort of your professional trading will this certainly be paid off. In the next three pictures you can see, how the setting may look like in one "Profile" using the option of displaying up to 100 charts. Image 3 "Gold" ¨C An example of a possible setting of 6 charts. The 1 and 5 min chart for the actual movements (trends), 1 and 4 H chart for short-term price movements (trends), Day and Week chart representation of medium to long-term movements (trend). To do this, simply add the number of charts in the Workspace (note the size of your monitor), arrange these charts with the Auto Arrange button (Windows box), then edit charts with your requirements. You can apply a range of functions into the charts, indicators, draw trend lines, you can print charts, save and work with them differently. The principal advantage is that it is directly from the charts; you can realize and even monitor your trading.
